We extend a warm welcome to our web site and trust that you find it of some interest. The site tells something of the work and ministry of the Green River Area Deaf Fellowship of Owensboro, Kentucky, which has been in existence since 1999, around 9 years and evolved from an evangelistic outreach. There was several deaf ministries existed long time before deaf church was found. We came together believe that deaf church is the best way to reach others for Christ and under the Deaf leadership.

We came to the principle fundamental pillars of the Church are its seeking to engage in Biblical worship, dynamic prayer meetings as the driving force of its activities; preaching and Bible studies based upon Doctrine of Grace as set forth in the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. In all of the ministries there is an expressed need of the Holy Spirit to lead, direct and energize every area of worship, prayer and service. We have our own distinctives in worship and prayer which we feel are God glorifying and based upon New Testament principles and reflect our spiritual development over the years.

We are a Deaf church serving the Deaf/Hard of Hearing communities in and surrounding Owensboro, Kentucky (Western Kentucky).  We hope this website will bring you a joyous blessing and directing you to grow in the Lord. May God be glorify alone!
